When this energetic logistics company needed a new and larger home, they naturally looked to Warehouse Row. Having a pre-existing relationship with both the landlord and the tenant, Hefferlin + Kronenberg was the natural choice to design their space.
The company’s executive offices comprise several large private workstations, a conference room, reception area, and a data entry area. The colors and textures of the base building were exposed and enhanced where ever possible. In many locations that a room divider or acoustical screen was needed, fabric-covered panels were selected in lieu of hard walls and ceilings. A sophisticated storefront glazing system was salvaged from a previous tenant and reconfigured to provide interior light and views throughout.
On the floor above the executive offices is the 20,000 square-foot call center. It is predominately open, and the warehouse aesthetic is enhanced and unified by long rows of industrial light fixtures in addition to the other exposed utilities. Very low workstation walls seed collaboration while reflecting an increasingly open business mentality. The tenant has an aggressive program of signage and graphics celebrating their client list. These work well to enhance the energy in the space.
