TCAT Athens

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology campus in Athens needed to find a way to expand the capacity for two of its most popular programs. However, the college is land-locked and has very little room for expansion. This required a large amount of creative problem solving to re-distribute space within the campus’s existing footprint to create a new multipurpose room, new lunch room, additional faculty offices, and expansion of the welding lab in addition to a small addition to the mechanical tool lab that would minimally impact the school’s parking needs while providing for additional square footage the program desperately needed.
