This office design is based on a simple request: to have the most inspiring work environment in the city. The open layout is conducive to the creative and collaborative group that utilizes the space. The trapezoidal shape plan is squared out using stud walls and punched through in areas to exposed the exterior brick walls and create accessory spaces along either side of the office. A custom made reception desk with a glowing resin panel, and a sculptural company logo, greet you upon entering the space. Beyond reception is the lounge area, where a sea of paper lanterns hanging like clouds overhead, flank a centralized bar. A kitchenette and custom built picnic table reside in the back of the space, getting the most natural light. A row of structural columns split the office into two sections; open lounge area and open work area. Along this axis (on the work area side) runs a track with industrial clamps holding two eight foot square metal walls, used as pin up space that can slide along the axis of columns from the collaboration area in the front, to the workstations in the middle, and all the way to the conference room in the back. A thirty-six foot long open work station table layout, as well as a glass wall conference maintains the openness desired by the client’s work style. The charcoal and rust paint colors give a strong and energetic impression on the user and guests of the space.
