Jewelry designer Amanda Pinson grew up watching her mother, a model, get dressed for Manhattan dinners and parties. In her new space, she wanted to capture both her mother’s glamour, and the elegance and ease of an older time. In collaboration with Rodney Simmons of Revival—who designed the concept—and the owner, HK Architects developed and implemented the new jewelry store from Amanda’s inspiration. A simple white palette creates a neutral backdrop for a large photo of Greta Garbo— a gift from Amanda’s grandmother—while decorative and functional mirrors bring a touch of light and movement to the space.
