Jim is a musician, writer, father, and husband. He’s been a drummer all his life, and he’s passionate about the complex ways in which things fit together. In his role as designer at HK, Jim brings an astute attention to detail, and enjoys creating clear and organized construction documents. He credits his time working with the design team at Life Care Centers of America for teaching him the fine art of ADA compliance. Jim spent many years mastering the design process at firms in Hartford, Seattle, and Chattanooga, after graduating from Chester Technical School in Connecticut. In his personal time, Jim is active in his church and local community, and thoroughly enjoys any sport involving skis.
