La Collina is comprised of two approximate 14,600 s.f. office buildings which will be built in two phases. The first phase adjoins the new subdivision road. This first building will contain a 3,200 s.f. corporate office for the Layman Foundation. The buildings take advantage of the sloping site by tucking the lower level offices into the hill and entering the lower level adjacent to convenient parking. The upper floor adjoins the upper parking level. Garden terraces are provided adjacent to the upper and lower levels. These terraces are landscaped with fountains, and inter-connected with stairs.
The buildings and retaining walls are clad in a combination of mountain stone and stucco. The roofs are red tile, the overall appearance of the buildings resemble a Tuscan villa. Special attention has been paid to relating the buildings to terraces and porches that take full advantage of the views and natural landscape.
