Louisville, Kentucky
Architects: Craig Kronenberg, Principal
Designed to expand downtown Louisville’s Fourth Street entertainment complex—the city’s most-visited attraction—Louisville Live is a mixed-use concept prepared for the Cordish development companies. The project combines retail, restaurants, cinemas, hotel, residential condominiums, and parking. Retail spaces are arranged on the principal street frontage and along a bustling internal working street. Organized on two levels, the retail areas include specialty restaurants, sports attraction stores, boutiques, and fashion outlets. An entrance to the hotel and condominium tower sits on a quiet street overlooking the retail center, and a landscaped resort-style pool on top of the parking garage serves as an elegant and functional space for hotel events.
