Marion County’s 140-acre Regional Community College Campus houses the biggest satellite campus for Chattanooga State Community College. We relocated the Regional Skills Center facility in Kimball to accommodate the growing demand for vocational training in the Sequatchie Valley. The new campus serves 1500 students in multiple buildings that emphasize the natural beauty of the site and reference the area’s agricultural roots through simple, durable design. Strategic touches like skylights for natural daylighting, rainwater capture systems for irrigation and landscaping, and high performance walls for lowered energy use make the campus as sustainable as it is economical.
