UTC GUERRY CENTER
The Guerry Center at University of Tennessee’s Chattanooga campus includes several historic spaces, all in the campus’ collegiate gothic style. When UTC asked Hefferlin Kronenberg architects to renovate and improve the center’s design and systems, maintaining the character of the building was paramount. A new roof, renovated entry, refinished and redesigned spaces helped to make the building more usable for students and the community. Improved building systems and technology throughout made for a more modern university facility without compromising the architecture’s unique personality.
