Virginia’s journey thus far has been about exploring everything and finding what works. She’s gone from small town Central Nebraska, to big bustling Portland, Oregon, to landing in Chattanooga. Virginia graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a design degree after dabbling in geology and economics. She found her place within the always-learning-something-new aspect of design.
Even Virginia’s favorite project to date was finding what worked in marrying an old, historic city hall renovation to a brand-new annex designed to house the town’s development services. No problem. She and her team created a collaborative experience across both buildings and ultimately helped define the civic identity of the town.
Virginia is pretty proud of the fact that her homemade popcorn, through much trial and error, is amazing as she could eat it for every meal.
