New Construction
Chattanooga, Tennessee
Architects: Heidi Hefferlin, design collaboration with Eskew Dumez Ripple

This unique, triangular building is the final phase of Chattanooga’s 21st Riverfront Renovation plan. Standing at the entrance to Renaissance Park, the Pavilion mirrors some of the natural attributes of the bio-reclamation site. It serves as a shelter, restrooms, storage, and information center. Many sustainable design features were incorporated: utilizing a grass roof to reduce storm water runoff and insulating the building naturally.
